Basicamente é isto: um pano com umas épicas 526gr/m2, com muita textura, muita espessura e que provavelmente um dia, por a trama ser pouco apertada vai ser propenso a afastamentos dos fios da trama na teia.
É lindo? É. Mas não para bebés pequenos, nem médios… e só muito provavelmente bebés muito grandes… isso, ou almofadas!
Tentei num Ruckssack TUB e simplesmente não tinha a força para conseguir fazer o nó desta besta. Ok… como é um pano curto, experimentei um canguru TUB… mas nem ao segundo nó cheguei. Um foi uma luta… dois; impensável.
É um pano lindo? É. É tecido à mão num atelier de tecelagem artesanal que procura utilizar técnicas antigas e padrões típicos da zona Mineira (Brasil)? Sim a isso tudo. É precioso por o algodão ser fiado manualmente, por ser tecido em tear manual? É. Mas é uma besta… Preciosa!
Quem sabe, no fim desta viagem, ele tenha mudado de comportamento… mas com 526g/m2 tenho sérias dúvidas!!!
Mas realmente, nos ombros, não senti peso algum!!!

review: the Precious Beast!
So, basically this is a cloth with some epic 526gr / m2, with a lot of texture, a lot of thickness and that probably one day probably prone to thread shifting because the weave is to open.
It’s beautiful? IT IS.
But not for small babies, not for medium babies … and just very probably very large babies … that, or pillows!
I tried on a Ruckssack TUB and just didn’t have the strength to get the knot of this beast. Ok … as it is a short cloth, I tried a TUB kangaroo … but even at the second knot I didn’t get. One was a fight … two; unthinkable.
Is it a beautiful cloth? IT IS.
Is it woven by hand in a handcrafted weaving studio that seeks to use old techniques and patterns typical of the Mineira region (Brazil)? Yes to all this. Is it precious because the cotton is spun manually, because it is woven in a manual loom? IT IS.
But it’s a beast …

Who knows, at the end of this trip, it changed his behaviour … but with 526g / m2 I have serious doubts !!!
But really, on my shoulders, I didn’t feel any weight !!!
